Dxtory is not finding x264 codec
« on: July 04, 2013, 03:59:01 am »
Okay so I'm about to say F*ck you to dxtory, literally.
I've been trying and trying for days and been patient you know but this is starting to cross the damn line.
My dxtory software wont find the x264vfw codec I'm trying to install. I've tried many different x264 downloads, tried to restart dxtory, reinstall dxtory, reinstall x264...
But NO, it just wont work! If I'm not finding an answer on this sh** I'm gonna go over to fraps which I really do not want to.

So please, if you can, HELP ME! I'm so tired of this not working.

- Sincerely an angry Lain

Lain3n,

If you installed the 64-bit x264vfw codec, Dxtory won't see it. You need to install the 32-bit x264vfw. Just a guess; hope it helps.
