Dxtory wont pick up Minecraft 1.8.4

  I recently bought  dxtory and i watched some tutorials but for me when i load up Minecraft nothing happens on the target page. If you have any expierince like me please let me know! no new profiles appear!  some1 please help!

Not really tech savy but not a complete nub. Ight so after long searching and thinking I've fixed this problem. Because the new minecraft launcher installs a java of its own it complicates Dxtory. So an error comes up in dxtory. The simple fix is to go into the minecraft directory (not the one in ur appdata. If you open the launcher click Edit Profile > Open Game Dir you can delete the parent folder.) after that go to this download and use the old launcher that you need java for. https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/Minecraft.exe

 I deleted the thing after the directory then i got the older version but i loaded up Mc but the profile on dxtory stayed pn default?!
