Dxtory lagging bad

So I bought dxtory last night and for some reason it has very low frams when recording I've tried changing the frames but it makes no difference if its on 120 or 30 lag is still the same on all games. My fraps is having no problems but I really want to try dxtory any suggestions???

Evga gtx 960 4gb - graphics card
Corsair cx 750 - psu
8 GB RAM
