Help: Dxtory init error and another issue.

Ok, so my issue is that when I select my audio playback device (my headset) Dxtory gives me the init error when i go to record. Now, when I select "voice meeter input" for my audio it works perfectly. However, it now doesn't record video or mic audio. So my video file ends up being a black screen with just the game audio playing.

I'm using windows 10, with the matrox codec. I also have SLI GTX 970's. I already checked the box that enables dxtory to work with SLI which was a problem i had earlier.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I think the lack of video has to do with the codec I'm using. But i can't find any codecs specifically for windows 10 that would work to try.

Fixed: The init issue was being caused by having the wrong audio device selected. while the lack of video was 100% the video player i was using. not the file/recording itself. The microphone was being recorded. But it was just super quiet and you could barely hear it. so turning up the gain on the mic fixed that.
