I am a average youtuber and in most of my videos I have my friends screaming on Skype and when I try to mute them when I'm editing the video it mutes the game audio and them together.
I was just wondering if there was a way to record Skype audio separate from my Game Audio/Speakers.

you need to set skype to output to different device, then record that device.

basically virtual audio cables http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/ or http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm (I'd recommend the first one).

basically youd need 2 cables: one as default audio device (so game outputs to that), second for skype. Then route both to your speaker output. In dxtory you'd record the cables + mic.
