DXstory and Adobe Premier
« on: August 04, 2016, 12:11:28 pm »
First let me say I love this program, but I am having some issues importing my videos into A Premier, it gives an audio codec error, and would not allow me to import (unknown audio codec). I recorded @ PCM and the video plays back fine.
Any suggestion would be most appreciated.

Rick

Just found what I was doing wrong. dumb dumb here had dxstory installed on windows 10 where I record my videos and CS6 on windows 7 ultima on the same machine, different drives. yesterday just for the sake of it, I installed dxstory in wind7 and bang all good, I took a hint from a post here that says to get the xtor codec installed you have to have the dxstory installed. Dah!!.
hope this help someone like me.

If that happens I usually use VirtualDub to export the audio with "save wav".

Tnxs,eRazeri I will give I try, Do you have any idea why premier can't recognize the video/audio from DXstory? is there a better setting in DXstory so premier would accept it?

Thanks
