Dxtory Slowing Down Core Clock of GTX 1080

Dxtory is causing my core clock to slow down and max out at 1151mhz on my GTX 1080 founder's edition, when it normally runs at 1800mhz + without Dxtory running.  Causing my FPS to drop in games.  I tested two games, one DX12 and one DX11.

It used to work fine before I did a fresh reinstall of Windows 10.  Just having Dxtory running is causing the core clock to jump around, and even moving the dxtory window around the desktop looks sluggish and strange.

I would like to continue to use Dxtory but this issue is ruining my performance.  What would cause this?  Nothing in error logs.  I will paste my Environment.

I am not sure what the cause of that is, it certainly sounds weird.

Try rolling back to 2.0.134, maybe the new version has that bug. It could also be a driver problem, so you might want to update/roll back on those as well (372.54 came out).

Thanks for the reply ClassifyLP, but I came across a solution on another forum.  It was being caused by the Xbox DVR from the Xbox app..  Damn it MS, I was trying to use their Windows Store games but the majority is right about it lol.  Not sure if it's something that has to be fixed in Dxtory, or NVIDIA has to fix in driver.  Because it seems to be an issue in EVGA PrecisionX as well, and disabling Xbox DVR fixes.

I doubt I would have figured that one out, have to go into the Xbox App go to settings (gear icon), DVR and disable.

Too bad I didn't find it earlier, as I already upgraded to Win10 Anniversary, downgraded, uninstalled and reinstalled 2 or 3 drivers, and tried 134 and 135 versions of Dxtory.

Well, thank you for posting the solution to this problem. It might help others in the future.
