Is there an official help file for Dxtory? + one other thing

I started using Dxtory a day ago, so I am new to it. I was wondering if there was an official help file though. I realize you cannot cover everything in regards to codecs and such, but what is Avifix used for? When would I even need to fix an AVI file? I can figure out what RawCapConv is for, and the AVIMux helps you convert your Dxtory Video Codec files out of the program for use in others if there are compatibility issues, but the "Video Setting" app, I am clueless on what they would be for. I feel like you have an opportunity to explain some things of this program either via an official help file or an official Youtube page. If not everything, just some basics or particular quirks that a may benefit from more than a mouseover, that way people are not always looking to somebody else to get started with it.

My other question is would it be possible to make the Dxtory Video Codec a separate download, so like if I share my file with somebody else who does not have Dxtory installed, they can still view and edit the files encoded with it? I found that Mirillis Action! has the same problem, their FICV format (Fast Intra Compression Video) codec isn't available as a standalone codec, so there can be issues with 3rd party programs or others viewing those files at times. I'm always a fan of making codecs available and easier for people to access, that way their proprietary nature is easier on everybody, they don't need to have a huge file converted or install a program just to gain access to the codec.

ExKoder isn't fluent in English, so unless he hires someone to do it for him, there won't be official, comprehensible help.

There are better, free codecs out there, like MagicYUV and UtVideo, but I wouldn't see why ExKoder couldn't release the codec as a stand-alone.

while the decode part of the codec could be standalone just fine, I guess, you can still just install dxtory trial to get it.

Doesn't really make much of a difference if a this "somebody else" installs just a codec or the dxtory trial.
