I'm curious.   Do you have problems with A/V sync?

In every test I've done so far,  the video always comes out different than the audio, usually by a few hundred milliseconds,  and although the produced file plays back in sync.  Demuxing only makes problems worse..   Videos recorded in 30fps suddenly become  25fps and the sound is out of sync usually by 1 - 2 seconds.

I've tried different versions with different options set and I can't figure it out..   I'm not sure if its an  x264vfw problem or possibly a Dxtory issue??    My lossless  (Dxtory, Lagarith, UT)  captures always come out with proper matching times, but I have seen anamolies  where the times may differ by 10ms or so.

edit:

Ok I think maybe it is DXtory at fault.   When I disabled the option to start recording as soon as the program is launched  I suddenly started producing streams where the audio and video durations matched exactly...hmm

Can anyone else confirm this?

Zach

Hrmm still having problems where the demuxed Stream, even though it correctly identifies as 30fps now, when muxed into an MP4  still comes up shorter than the audio..   This is weird  ugh..
