Recording Frames Dropping

Hey All, so I have a problem with Dxtory dropping the recording frames a lot! So I have a decent computer; GT 640m and i7 3630QM 2.4 GHz (yes its a laptop). I run, for example, TF2 at about 100-120 fps. But when I go to record, (I record at 30 fps and 720p, with the default codec) it starts the recording at about 30 fps for roughly 2-3 minutes. Then slowly starts dropping to 20, then 15, and eventually after about 5 more minutes to 5 fps. This all happens when my game FPS stays at 80-100. Any Help?
