Hello.

I recently purchased DXTORY!

I love the software, but I am struggling with something.

I am looking to record gameplay with my friends whilst on a Skype call.

DxTory records the game and my voice perfectly, but It does not at all record skype.

I have tried using the AVIMux feature to piece the audio together, but the skype audio is not there.

Is there anything I have missed? As it is vital I can record with skype audio!

Thanks,
Lewis.

Here are some screenshots of my audio settings:

I hope these help!

Check this guy video, it will explain you how to set up Dxtory properly to record multiple audio streams, including Skype. Fast forward to 16:00 if you want specifically audio tracks and Skype.

Hi Robbie!

Thanks for your reply!

I watched that video and copied EVERYTHING to the dot, of what he did, but when I am recording...It only records MY microphone and the game audio...

Even after I split it, it just isnt there.

Its as If I was talking to myself!

Are you sure on that? Did you try right-clicking on the video and pressing "Extract Audio Streams". Would your Skype be missing there too.

Hiya!

after playing around a bit. I managed to fix it!

I added 'Line in' as an audio stream and it started to record skype!

Thanks for your help as that video really helped out with a lot of other problems!

Also, might I ask...
If I have recorded everything, and I have the video file, Is there an easy way to split the audio up between skype, game and Mic?

Without buying any additional softwares?

Yes you can, you have to do what I've mentioned in the previous post.

QuoteRight-Click on the Dxtory video, then press Extract Audio Streams. Doing so will extract all audio tracks from your video beside the video file.
