when I click off of the game I'm recording It stops recording

Now I know there might not be a fix or this is supposed to happen but when I click off of the game I'm recording It stops recording but when I click back into the game it continues recording but makes a new file and this extremely annoying  .

There's nothing wrong in that, it's not possible to capture gameplay of the game which is minimized. You shouldn't be minimizing the game during recording.
