What other program? Did you mean the Don't Starve game. I installed that to check if dxtory is working and it's working on that game no problem. For BF4 dxtory would not hook.

Usually "other programs" that interfere are other recording software, sweetfx (and alike) or such.

I dont have any other recording software. Do you think MSI afterburner will have any conflict even though I exit it? I dont use any sweet fx.

I would suggest trying to disable SLI and check if that's what causing the issue.
