Dxtory works... not really

For cs go when I turn on dxtory the fps counter goes off and when I click record there is an INIT. A movie file is created when I first press the record button and then disappears right after a couple seconds. Also in other games such as Alien - Isolation the fps counter does not even come up at all. I have a GE72 Apache dual GPU - integrated graphics card and nvidia GTX 960M. Can someone please help me understand how to get dxtory to work? Thanks~
