Bizarre low fps recording in recent versions

I have a rig made specifically for even being able to game and record "lossless" in 4k with DXTORY. As of late, some games are refusing to record correctly. Even really simple Unity-based games. It would appear quite a few things apparently somehow "lock" at 45fps recording almost exactly. Even if the game is running at 60fps or higher. Of course I could use "synchronous surface lock" for example but then the output isn't exactly a smooth 60fps even if it records as that. What's been going on recently?

EDIT:

Can confirm DXTORY is causing the problem, something is causing it to capture at about 75% the target fps. Locking the games to 90fps rather than 60fps lets me record 60fps it would seem....

Have you tried using only "Multi Device Processing" under Advanced ?  If that doesn't help you can try Force CPU processing and see what that does.  Those two settings usually have an effect with that problem.
Using Windows 10 ?  Try the latest version first http://exkode.com/dxtory-downloads-en.html
