Are there .wav limitations with recorded audio?

Just thought I'd ask out of paranoia, I have my Dxtory set up to record both the game audio obviously, and also to record my microphone on a second channel, both with 16bit 48,000 PCM stereo.

Now usually if you record a .wav PCM on it's own, you can only go up to 4gigs or the audio will break, which is several hours of recording, but we do long recording sessions.

With micophone set up with the above settings, will it have these same limitations? I just don't want to record an 8 hour session just to find that the 2nd microphone channel has broken audio.

From what I could find you should be fine, but someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Wav Limits : as you said, yes wav files (with 32bit headers) are limited to 4gb and this info is right on wikipedia.
Avi Limits : here is some useful info on it :  http://www.avi-io.com/2_4_gig_issue.htm

Since the audio data is saved into an avi container (OpenDML) , there is no practical limits as long as the target partition is NTFS.  If you can avoid it though, I would not record videos over 1-2 hours ( per file ) unless you need uninterrupted recording.
Using Windows 10 ?  Try the latest version first http://exkode.com/dxtory-downloads-en.html
