Only records my primary audio device

If I have my speakers set up on device 1 and my mic on device 2, I only get game sounds, no voiceover.  If I set up my mic on device 1 and speakers on device 2, I only get voiceover, no game sounds. I'm recording to a 10k rpm drive in AVI format at 60 fps, if that makes any difference.

edit: I should probably also mention I'm running Windows 10 Technical Preview

Win10 isn't supported.
But I think the cause is a AVI player.
