Dxtory wont record GTA5

I recently purchased the game Grand Theft Auto 5 and upon trying to record some gameplay I found out that dxtory despite of showing the fps counter wont record the game. I'm press the same key shortcut that I use to start recording in every other game but here it wont work.

Any ideas.

On the information tab take a look at ErrorLog.txt if there's anything to help there.

The errorlog.txt is clean, there is no info. Also dxtory is not detecting any of my shortcuts, not even the one I use to change the fps counter

Running both in admin or normally?
If the game is runned as an admin and dxtory is not, or the other way around, they can't communicate.
GTAV is tricky to record altogether, for example I can't use the dxtory overlay or it will crash the game and I have to start dxtory when the game is already running for it to detect the game.
Also some people need to use a long delay in the hook.

There is an unorthodox way for me to record GTA 5. I get both Dxtory and GTA 5 running, delay hook does not matter. I alt-tab the game, hit the record button (don't worry if you are just staring at your desktop, just hit record), then alt-tab back into the game.

You do the same way to stop recording too.

Might be a case by case solution for different PCs but that's how I get it to record my GTA.

I decided to use shadowplay for this game. Dxtory is a great program (has worked flawlessly so far) but I don't have enough free time to waste it trying to fix this issue instead of playing the game.
