having trouble recording videos longer than a few seconds

I first set this up and got to record a  couple of videos that were one to three minutes long.  After those attempts, i could record only one ~23 second video and then it would automatically stop recording after 23 seconds or so.

After the 23 second video, it will not let me start another video until i wait some time.  And it will, again, only let me record a short video ~23 sec.
