Can you do a few things first though :
1.  Post a full environment file as mentioned in this sticky : http://forum.exkode.com/index.php?topic=2.0
2.  What build of windows 10 are you on ?
3.  Has dxtory worked for you at all in 10 ?
4.  Any major changes made to your system recently ?
5.  Did you install any software from the motherboard manufacturer ?
6.  Any virus or malware cleaning of your pc recently ?

Yes DXtory did work then I bought a license and this is where we are.

I have not installed any MOBO software during any of the process above

No Anti Virus runs as far as i am aware.

I doubt there are any issues with Trell's .net runtime as windows 10 comes with ver. 4.6 or higher depending on the build.

You said that Dxtory was working previously and now its not starting up.   Were you win 10 at that time or win 7 / 8 ?

If you were on windows 10 when it was working, have you updated to a newer build since then ?

I would also like to know your build info and is it an "N" version of windows ?

Lastly,  in my post to that other thread, I asked them to find and possibly rename the profiles folder.  Did you find your profiles folder ? Is it where it should be ?  Try and rename it , see if it makes any difference.  If not, change it back.

You did by leaving the Windows Update settings untouched. You can probably reverse it though.

If this doesn't fix your issue, please start your own thread.

You could try to view your videos in VLC, but you need to make a minor change to the settings
Video > Output > OpenGL   then close VLC and restart it.  You may also try Direct2d if OpenGL doesn't work.
