Dxtory crashes almost every application and game that is related to gaming

I just purchased Dxtory about two hours ago, and it doesn't work. Forgive me if I get a little upset, because I am absolutely livid.
Dxtory is crashing literally every game, and gaming-related application I have. Steam, Battle.net, and even Geforce Experience. None of my games, and most of these programs, will not run while Dxtory is also running. Even if I open dxtory AFTER I run the game. I've been googling for like an hour now, and have found no solution for this, and in fact haven't found any solutions for an issue of this sort. Why isn't this crap working? So far the only thing that has in any remote way helped is updating to the newest version which let me open steam, but nothing else.

If there's any other information I can post to help, let me know, because I kinda really would like if I didn't just waste 30 bucks.

Do you have a folder set up to have the video record to? Also check the Delay Hook option, might help.

[Takedown]

If delay hook ( under Advanced options ) doesn't work, then you're going to have to start looking for the conflict. 

It could be antivirus or security software, it could even be geforce experience.  You're going to need to shut down / disable programs one-by-one until you find the conflict.
