Hello everybody! i hope you having perfect day!

Very simple but very important request. Does Dxtory is able to record sounds only in-game like only from (.exe)? Because while i play game and recoring video,I listen music on Youtube. And i dont think i am going to change it.Not any application like winamp, windows media player etc.  I use chrome as a browser. SO i dont wanna any sound from what i listen as a music. I just want pure game sound.

I have been looking around for recording software which has that feature.  But it has been really long time.

p.s. i am using laptop. So dont bother me about sound cards please.

Thank you very much !!

Not possible without extra software like Virtual Audio Cable or VB-Cable and either the game or the corresponding application (Chrome in your case) must give you the option to choose its audio output device, which most likely isn't the case, so you're out of luck I guess.
To answer your question: No, Dxtory cannot capture application specific sound output on it's own and you probably won't find any software which can.

Thank you for posting.

Thats a fact many recording softwares can separate display. For example during recording if i going to switch display by ALT+TAB, software keeps recoring  only game which is perfect.Doesnt starts to recording overall monitor output. I mean it can capture only screen from (.exe),But not for sounds.it is kinda weird. Why it is okey with display but not sound? it should be possible...

Also i heard about VAC has latency problems and as you said i think Google Chrome doesnt allow to choose audio output device.

Takedown

This question has come up a million times for almost all game recording software and the issue is a limitation of Windows.  Kayten is correct, if the program / game doesn't allow the user to choose an audio device then programs will record EVERYTHING that is played on the default device.

Dxtory or any other capture software currently can't do what you are asking, but there is some audio routing programs that *may* work.
You would use them to move or force the audio from the default device to something else.

Using Windows 10 ?  Try the latest version first http://exkode.com/dxtory-downloads-en.html
