Hi there,
after a clean install of win10 and the current amd driver for my radeon HD 785o, I tried to record minecraft. So I downloaded the latest dxtory, installed lagerith loseless codec
and startet Minecraft. Then I tried to start dxtory. Which did nothing. I start it as admin, then the windows security screen asks me if I want to start the program, I say yes.... nothing happens...
When I downgrade to the stable dxtory version 2.0.128, the program does start and I can use it. UNTILL I hid the record button. Then the fps go down to 11 and stay locked.

Is it a compatibility problem with amd or what is it?

Uninstall 2.0.128 and install the latest version again.

Make sure Dxtory is not blocked by a firewall or other software.  It needs to connect to ca servers for it to start properly.
Using Windows 10 ?  Try the latest version first http://exkode.com/dxtory-downloads-en.html

Installed the latest version. Made sure it is not blocked by windows or avg and started. It shows up for a second in the taskmanager, then disappears.
Still can't start dxtory.
is there a 64bit version that might work?

If you plan on recording mostly minecraft, it would be a better idea to just use window / display capture with OBS or other software.  AMD cards + minecraft is an unresolved issue for Dxtory.  ( Most say it is because of the drivers )

To answer your last question though,  Dxtory has both 32/64 bit support in the installer and will include both if your OS is 64 bit.

If you wish to use Dxtory for other things, then we will need to see your logs

Still not starting.
It doesn't do nothing.

And it is no solution to use a different program if my question is "how do I make THIS program work?".

If you would go to a mechanic cuz your car is broken and it doesnt drive well. The answer to the question "How do I fix my car?" isn't "buy a different one" either.

But since no official has answered this problem so far, I assume they do not care.

Please do as Takedown already mentioned and post your Environment and Error log, otherwise it is really hard or nearly impossible to find the real reason of your problem ^-^

Exactly, without logs we can only guess as to what is wrong.  It is like asking a mechanic how to fix a problem without bringing him a car to look at.  ( /sarcasm )

I highly recommend you to delete EVERYTHING related to DXtory, then re-install.
(Search for DXTORY with a program called "Evertyhing", them ALT+DEL those files).

And if Im not mistaken, an old AMD driver from Febuary 2014 works with dxtory/minecraft... Thats when I had my last AMD card.

This is actually true, all 13.x.x amd drivers will work with dxtory. However the latest dxtory update fixed the minecraft + AMD cards issue so, OP, I would download that if I were you :P
