Frame rate drop while recording
« on: August 16, 2013, 08:03:27 pm »
Dxtory was recommended to me by a friend , however i wish to make sure i can get it working before i buy.

while attempting to record game-play i am experiencing a drop in frame rate, when playing my fps is about 50-60 ish but as soon as i start recording it drops to about 10-15fps.
this makes playing any of the games i am trying to record nearly impossible.

any help in resolving this would be appreciated.

If you are having the same problem as I am...meaning the write speed is good, your pc is good and everything should be running smoothly but it isn't...follow what this link tells you...https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/redcats-guide-to-recording-in-planetside-2-dxtory-ffsplit-obs.80232/     In my case it would say I have over 100 FPS while recording then when I watch the video it would look like about 20 FPS...I hope this helps :)
