[Request] Voice Activated Push-To-Talk AKA Noise Gate
« on: October 26, 2013, 03:58:38 am »
Please consider adding the following feature to DXtory:

There is an option in teamspeak to enable voice activation, where the user can set the threshold for a noise gate. This function acts as an alternative to push to talk. If audio input is louder than the desired db level, the recording is made. This feature automatically filters out low db background noise and only allows talking to be recorded. If this option is in DXtory, then you might not receive another "add more push to talk button" request again.

See wikipedia link below explaining how noise gates work.
