So I have a weird issue, clean Windows 7 x64 SP1 install + Sony Vegas Pro 12 I was previously using MSI Afterburner but would like to move up to DXtory. Installed the dxtory demo, tested a few things went back to working on a previous project I had in Sony Vegas 12. Sony Vegas 12 now complains it can't open the AVI I had recorded and used previously in my project. Reboot, same issue, look the file in Graphedit and it looks like its using the standard AVI Splitters etc to open the video. Uninstall DXtory and I can open the video once again in Sony Vegas, install Dxtory, video fails to open. When I can open it Vegas tells me it is in format Sony Motion JPEG. Since I encoded this file with MSI Afterburner I'm assuming Vegas has some internal MJPEG decoder that is being looked over when Dxtory is installed. Is there any way to install Dxtory without any codecs?
