Stuttering and Huge Fps Drop

Hey i just joined here but i used DXTORY for quiet a while and i think its one of the best recording softwares out there.
This is tho not without problem that i have seen over and over since AMD Updated above driver 12.11 beta 11 and 13.1 WHQL.
Ever since they updated over that DXTORY is almost impossible to record DX9 games without 50% fps drop and huge stuttering in DX9 titles that is. This do not occur on any DX10 or DX11 that i have tested and i play tons of games.

AMD Drivers
Before AMD's updates over 13.1 WHQL i started to have this issues with every single DX9 title i try.
This is not related to my specific Graphics card which is an Asus 7950 DC2T V2 non oced.
Why do i know this? I have tried with my previous graphics card ATi 5870 which is an old card but still a good one and this one gets the exact same problems as i get with the 7950 so its not related to the GPU.

OS
I also reinstalled my OS i think about 20 times to try all kinds of drivers and also tried driver sweepers and reinstall os again and again on both Windows 8 64bit and Windows 8.1 64bit.
Same problems over and over. Skyrim is just horrible to try record but this as i said to apply to all DX9 games i tried and i prolly atleast tried about 20 different ones.
So we can conclude its not the Graphics cards thats the issue.

Storage
I have a good setup with harddrives i run my OS on a Samsung 830 SSD and i have a standalone WD Black 7200RPM 1TB only for YouTube Recording and Editing.
I have another 1TB where i got my games on. I have another 4TB which i only store files on. I have another Samsung 840 that i have a few games on that i play more frequently.
This happens to games on both the WD Black 7200rpm and the Samsung 840 when i record to my other WD Black 7200rpm drive that is dedicated to only recordings and it happens to my 4TB if i would choose that one to.

Bandicam
The thing that is strange is that Bandicam a software which i think most people consider one of the lesser good ones actualy drop about 2-4 fps when recording DX9 games in 1080p where DXTORY drops 50% of the fps which in some games is from 100fps to 50 and make it feel totally stuttering.
I also tried MSI Afterburner to record and i see that the Frame Timing between each frame doubles with MSI and that one has the same problems as DXTORY do they drop to the same fps and the same stuttery feeling so something must have changed to the AMD drivers that DXTORY has not yet picked up and fixed.
I reported this to AMD to before and i also have a video showing how horrible it looks

Link to a video that i posted before
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DUm-4G3DvU
This is an old video but it still represent to the current drivers in DX9 and in all DX9 Titles i tried sofar not only Skyrim

Needs to be reported
I felt that this problems needs to be reported because i have been waiting for a fix if it was a known issue but it seems its not so i would love to see DXTORY fixing this because this is my favorite recording software out there that you can customize the most of them all.
When DXTORY worked with DX9 i used to drop close to zero fps to max about 10 but now i drop 50% and thats not ok at all and i know DXTORY can do way better since i seen it in the past and i hope to be able to use this software again for recording in DX9 Games. Just the fact that Bandicam works perfect tells me that something is wrong with DXTORY.
I also tried both with DXTORYs codec and Lagariths with same problems and i record at 1280x720 at 30fps.

Is a driver the cause?

And the performance of CPU is very low.

Please use "Force CPU Processing" and "Enabled Synschronus Surface Lock".

The best method is using GeForce.
Although I have three 290X, there is no driver which operates normally. :'(
I am using GTX780Ti.

B4NTO

I can give that a try but Force Cpu Processsing normaly makes it worse for me.
i7 920 at 3.8ghz is not low performance its almost equal as the laters cpus when it comes to gaming and i have had zero problem with the CPU with DXTORY before.
I will try those things.
Nah i dont like GeForce i prefer OpenCL and i never had issues with DXTORY before.
To me atleast if it works with Bandicam the issue should be in DXTORY.
Many other screen recorders out there seem to favor AMD with OpenCL and AMD APP such as Action and Bandicam.
I wont buy a new GPU because DXTORY do not work as it should then i rather just go with Bandicam until either DXTORY is fixed or AMD fixed their driver. I think this might be something due to their "fix" of the microstuttering because i think this was something that changed after driver 13.1 if im not wrong.

DXTORY in DX9 i cant record in even 720p at 30fps without huge stuttering and fps drops and if i dont remember wrong its same problem in 480p with both DXTORY builtin codec at lowest quality and Lagarith at lowest and multicore thingy checked.
With Bandicam no problems in 1080p even at 60fps but i normaly record in 720p at 30 because that is what i work with when i edit my files after.

Tried what you said now with Skyrim without mods and AA shutoff i get 120fps but the game looks like its running at 10fps but missing every second frame so. Dunno i should record this and show you its horrible

Tried exact same settings skyrim with Bandicam and now i even recorded at higher resolution 1080p at 30fps and no issues what so ever. Stable fps and every frame is there. This must be related to DXTORY i dont see what else it would be. Sure AMD prolly changed something since its after drivers that it appeared but i mean DXTORY have to be adjusted to work with newer drivers i bet you agree with me.

*Edit*
I have the recorded file saved on my pc with both dxtory and if you wish i can upload them as an unlisted video and give you the link and you can check it out. It's really not playable at all

This got posted in wrong thread before.

The games thats shown in DXTORY there is Age of Conan in DX9 and Everquest Next Landmark Alpha which i can understand have issues due to alpha and one is also Elder Scrolls Online Beta that one has no issues since it run in DX11.

This happen in every single DX9 game i play so its related somewhere to DX9 after every driver from AMD after 13.1 WHQL. This problem is on every single driver from AMD after with DXTORY . This stuttering fps drop do not exist with Bandicam in exact the same games and all DX9 games i tried work flawlessly with max 10 fps drop if even that. Where DXTORY would drop about 50 fps where bandicam drop 10 or less. Bandicam looks totally smoth while playing and recording while DXTORY is a horror to play in  DX9 games with.

I think that AMD Changed something with their drivers after 13.1 WHQL that Dxtory have not seen or fixed. This have been fixed by Bandicam tho so there must be some sollution to this.
It happens to Dota 2 aswell.

Mainly all DX9 games are affected by this. DX10 and DX11 no problems.
I tried almost every single driver out there with reinstall of os and reinstall of drivers and everything and like i said before even with my old ATi 5870 with the exact same problems.

I hope this can get fixed in someway i had this problem really long now and i felt that this needs to get reported and fixed. Sure i can keep recording with Bandicam since it has no problems with DX9 games where DXTORY has with AMD cards. But i would like to use DXTORY because i think this software is one of the best out there for recording with it customizeable settings.
I also tried this with totally fresh setup of windows only update Windows Drivers and install graphics and those required to start game and try record with exact same issues.
Playing with AMD 13.1 is no option tho since it have some serious bugs in it but works really good to record DX9 games with DXTORY but every new driver have problems with DXTORY and not with Bandicam and to me in logic that tells me that something changed in they way AMDs drivers works with atleast DX9 and causes DXTORY to not work fully where there is a fix needed i would think on the DXTORY side since Bandicam do not have this issue.

I will supply you with what ever you need because this is important for me to get this solved and prolly other out there that might not realize this or know of this problems.
Dxtory normaly with DX10 and DX11 drop almost none fps where DX9 i just cant stand recording DX9 with DXTORY.

Did you check the video by the way?
