I recently bought DxTory and I'm having a big problem with it. Whenever I try to record, it cuts off the left and right side of my screen. I'll post a screenshot below, how can I fix this? I emailed your support and they told me to post here.

So, what should I do to fix this? Already tried re-installing it and that didn't work.

ExKoder

Since an aspect ratio differs between 1920x1018 and 1280x720, it is the normal processing.

Ok? So how do I fix it?

Malix

record in window size with same aspect ratio as your selected scaling resolution.

1280x720 = 16/9
and your 1920x1018 (not the same as 16/9) , maximized window on 1920x1080 screen. Taskbar+window titlebar causes the window content to be different shape than 16/9 ratio.

Use fullscreen or select a 16/9 resolution for the window and don't maximize it.

I tried changing everything including my screen/in-game resolution to 1920x1080 and it didn't do anything. Is there anything else? By the way I'm getting this error every time I open up the program now. And yes I already tried re-installing it.

nope, that should be it.

if you're using sony vegas (as per your environment info) and the video appears weird there, check that your cropping settings & project resolution is right.
